Cleo Smiths Mother Has No Idea What Happened To Four Year Old Missing From Carnarvon Blowholes

A Melbourne mum is doing her bit to keep children entertained during lockdown, hosting more than 600 Zoom parties for disadvantaged kids.

The mother-of-three (including a four-month-old) is the founder of charity Friend In Me.

"We're promoting inclusion and acceptance for these children who are sometimes misunderstood or disadvantaged or sick in some way and just creating a bit of joy," she says.

Her idea - which is now all held online via Zoom - began before lockdowns.

"I was driving to work one day, and I heard a mum call through in tears. She was talking about how she'd organised a party for her little boy who has disabilities, and nobody turned up," Ms Larkin said.

"It just resonated with me, I was like, 'Oh gosh, that's very sad...maybe I could do something?'"
